The first electric light was invented by English Chemist in 1809. He used 2 wires and connected with battery and attached a charcoal strip between the other ends of the wires.
In 1835, James Bowman Kindsay demonstrated constant electric lighting system using a prototype lightbulb.
In 1854, Henricg Globel was first person who invented first lightbulb by using carbonized bamboo filament placed inside a glass bulb.
Sir Joseph Wilson Swan was invented first longer lasting electic bulb(13.5 hours) in 1878. Then in 1879, Thomas Alva Edison invented a carbon filament that burned 40 hours.
In 1903, Willis Whitnew invented a filament that would not make the inside of a lightbulb turn dark. It was a metal-coated carbon filament
The first frosted lightbulb were produced in 1925 and in 1991, philips invented a lightbulb that lasts 60,000 hours. They used magnetic induction.
